Carole mentioned NCNE's Fall Fun Day in another post so figured I'd add the details here.
Newfoundland Club of New England's Fall Fun Day
Sunday, October 3, 2004
4-H Fairgrounds, Westford, MA
Rain or Shine (lots of pavillions)
10 AM: Grooming Demo (light grooming for a nominal fee)
Obedience Judging (Prenovice, Novice, Open)
11 AM Nutrition workshop- Nutritionalist Erica Barbucto will talk and answer questions about feeding large dogs
11:30 RagNewf Parade- Best costume gets a prize
Noon: Lunch (lunch items will be for sale)
After lunch: Conformation Judging
puppy classes: 3-6 mos, 6-9 mos, 9-12 mos, 12-18 mos.
Adult classes: Novice, Open, Veterans
Junior Handling
Spayed & Neutered allowed in all classes.
No dogs with major points please.
Carting demo-- but I don't know what time.
CGC evaluations going on all day long!!!

Directions: From Route 495, take exit 32 (Boston Rd, Route 225). Go EAST to Route 110 and turn left at the traffic light. Go 1/2 mile and take a right onto South Chelmsford Rd. Fairgrounds are 1 mile on the right.
Hope to see lots of you New Englanders there! I'll be manning the registration table so be sure to stop by.

I am going to try to make it to the NCNE Fun Day, but this will be my first event where I actually have a pup! Is anybody else going to be able to make it? I hope there's no rain...

We're going to try and make it. Missed the fun in Eliot, ME but that's ok because I was visiting in Canada and got to hold 3 new, 8-hour- old Newf puppies instead.
Ahhh, puppy breath!

Byron has missed you all week. By the way, since Daniel and I have never gone to a fun day, is there anything we should bring?

We brought water and water bowls, though Oz was too excited to drink even once! This was in additon to the ridiculously over packed bag I usually bring with us everywhere we go with extra leashes, treats, a towel a few toys and pain killers if he needs them. Somebody is very very spoiled.....or somebody is a ridiculous over packer who has over stuffed every suitcase for every holiday with things never once needed....

Just a reminder that tomorrow (Sunday) is NCNE's Fall Fun Day!
My puppies have had a bath and are clean at the moment...who knows what they'll look like tomorrow.
