My thoughtful boy!

Every morning, without fail, Ozzy gives his first treat of the day to his Dad. I get up early and take him out then put on a pot of coffe and start my day. After his morning walk Ozzy gets a cookie which everyday he brings into the bedroom and sets on the pillow next to DH's head.
On Monday we had a house guest and as usual I got up early with Oz and decided to make waffles for breckfast. Ozzy got one quarter of the first one as a rare treat and he trotted off happily to munch on it, or so I thought..... When I went in to wake up DH, next to the cookie on his pillow was a slobbery peice of waffle half stuck on the quilt! Ozzy gave his Dad his yummy treat, it was the sweetest thing ever! I went into the spare room to wake up our guest and propped near her pillow was the peanutbutter rawhide Ozzy had gotten as a prezzie during Giles' birthday party the day before.
What a love! THe cookie thing is pretty amazing, but the waffle thing floored me! WHat a sweetheart! He got bigs hugs for that AND another piece of waffle which he practically inhaled!

Awwww, I remember when Stoli left me a lovely half eaten soup bone under my pillow (which I found as I was going to sleep). I was so mad until I posted it and everyone told me how special he must think I am to share his bone with me. Ozzy must love you guys a whole bunch. What a guy!!

What a wonderful boy! My Morgan is a sweetheart, but would NEVER share a waffle. I think Ozzy deserves all sorts of extra treats for that one.

I really do wonder! Jesse and I have tried to figure out if it is him giving Jesse the treats to keep safe until later, or if it is sharing. Admittedly, if I am eating anything newf-friendly, I do share it with him. I figure he's been through enough and can have whatever he wants as long as its good for him. So maybe its sharing afterall? Whatever it is it is supercute, and Jesse wanted me to add that if he gets up before me and gives Oz his cookie, Ozzy will bring it to me while I am sleeping, so its not just "for Dad".
