I went and got a baby holland lop on Saturday! I'm totaly in love with him!! I've been wanting a rabbit for YEARS and now my dream has come true. I named him Ludo after the adorable monster from the movie Labyrinth. His personality it really low key. He's very calm and not really startled by anything. He gives me kisses every time I hold him. I've done a ton of research online. Anyone have some good rabbit care tips that I may not have come across?

What? No pics? Shame on you for teasing us like this. ;) Is he a mini, or the standard, gets big as a dog type Lop?

Sorry for the lack of pictures from my end all together. I'll get my act together soon and post some. Ludo is a mini. He should weigh somewhere between 3 and 4 pounds when he is full grown. His coat color is tortoise shell and he has a little white cotton tail, a white belly and the tips of his paws are white. He has the most adorable little face. I'm soooo in love!

I adore rabbits. Congrats on Ludo. Will he be a house rabbit? I have had ones outside, but told my husband I wanted a house rabbit sometime. With 3 indoor cats, and now 2 indoor dogs...don't think the house rabbit will happen anytime soon. Enjoy the bunny snuggles! And give him a hug for me.

Ludo is a house rabbit. When he's not supervised he stays in a huge dog kennel so he's both safe from the dogs and cats and can't chew wires or dig the carpet. The dogs and cats are VERY curious about him.

You're right....besides a 3-4lb rabbit won't make much of a meal at all....
