Most Clever Of Moves

Sundance always follows me upstairs when I shower in the morning and plops down on the bathroom floor (we call him the bath mat). My husband discovered he would get up once the shower curtain was closed, sneak downstairs and lick the cat's bowls clean and then come back and act as if he had been there the whole time. I never knew he left until my husband caught him doing it two days in a row.

Pooka just rang the potty bells but when I opened the door he backed up really quickly and made it clear he had no interest in going outside - when I turned back to him and closed the door he grabbed my sleeve and hauled me to the baby gate on the stairs - he wanted to go upstairs and get a drink out of the bathtub but I was watching a movie and not paying attention to him. He rang the bells to get me up off the couch!

I can say all this here, because you all won't think I'm crazy, you'll agree, but DH always cautions me not to say this to non-dog people. Crazy? Who?[/quote]

:LMAO::crazy:I love to talk to the non dog world like that:LMAO::icon_bb:Hubby used to just shake his head but now he talks like a nut too.:shocker:....well atleast a nut to the outsiders of the dog world. HEEEEHEEEEEE who cares maybe they will get curious as to what they are missing.:!rolling:

Merlin is the king of clever moves....I'd have to say drawing me away from the kitchen table was what he did best. He tries everything to get to food. He is food driven, but w/me in the kitchen he does'nt dare. :nono:

One evening we were sitting down to dinner. I was going to crate Merlin but I noticed slepping soundly, so I thought, in the living room. We begin eating dinner when I hear what sounds like the toilet seat opening and closing. I turn around to see Merlin gone. I go to the bathroom, turn in, and and say "I know your in here Merlin"(I had'nt turned the light on). When all of a sudden he comes bolting out of the room behind me, runs through the living room, into the kitchen and straight for my plate!!! Dan is in no way fast enough to stop him. Needless to say, he enjoyed my meal!! He is so damn fast that he just about cleaned my plate before we could get him off.

To steal some food, he knew he had to get mommy out of the kitchen, and that's just what he did:bandit:

On the lng ride home sometimes the babies don't leave Isaac a comfy spot. Isaac will step on the edge of the ramp to knock it over (usually on Tank) and if that doesn't get Tank up Isaac will sit on the ramp. Then they all get an equal space.
