Moonight

Guess I should post on the Rainbow Bridge, but I'm not sure I'm ready to talk about it extensively. We took Moonlight yesterday morning to cross the Bridge. So many things going on. She was exhausted and laboring to breathe, then couldn't get up. Stayed up with her three nights and decided it was time. We are both devastated, and now we are dogless for the first time in over fifty, yes fifty, years. House is so quiet and seems so big and empty. Both of use are shattered. Both want another Newf, maybe not a puppy, but a rescue or rehome of some sort. Miss her smell, her hugs.

The loss is great, the hole is huge...mend your heart some then post later. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I watched a little movie with the grandson this weekend, and I'm stuck on it, maybe the saying is meant for you and your girl...
