Make your own steps

Wow I can even make it myself. I like it. Think I know what this weekend's project will be. Thanks for sharing as I've been trying to decide if I should be thinking about steps for Bria (who turns 7 in March) to get into my vehicle.

Thanks for posting this! Will make this. Puppy coming in 4 weeks, don't want him stressing his baby joints. Will teach him to do the steps young.

I have steps that I made that are very similar to this. They work great. I glued and indoor/outdoor type carpet to the top of mine.

Just out of curiosity, do they need a covering on them? Seems to me foam has pretty good traction.

I've been making these for the last couple of years. Make sure the base is large enough so they are sturdy. You also need a covering on them or the insulation will crumble from their claws. I make a cover to fit, then wrap colored cord or twine around them so that it makes a handle so you can easily move them around with one hand.

Thanks for the link, we are currently borrowing a ramp from the neighbors these would be a inexpensive alternative.
