I made pear butter from the pears that we grew this year and this jar had a little something "extra" LOL

some of you might have seen this on FB but I just had to share here because so many people can relate, was kidding around said I would sell it to the highest bidder and Ted is winning at $4.00 LOL do I hear $4.25 hee hee hee

Guess I would never buy it then. I am not into pears. I picked pears in Israel a week or 2 when I was 16. Haven't cared for pears since. Funny though, I pick newf hair up almost daily for 5 years plus now, and it doesn't bother me yet. It must be that "love" angle you mentioned.
