Lump

Hi all!
I know it has been quite some time since I last posted, but I have found an ominous lump on Koda's side. I am surprised that I didn't see it sooner but she has so much fur that it was pretty hidden. I'm hoping it is just a fatty deposit because Koda is not even a year old yet! Has anybody else seen lumps that have seemed ominous but turned out to be nothing? I am hoping this is common, I am planning to take her to the vet soon.

A visit to the vet would be in order to get it checked. Gunther had one on the side of his snout, they removed it and it was fine.

I just took our Brenna to the vet yesterday, with a small lump that's been there for at least a month. Waiting to see how that turns out.

Best advice I can give, is to have it looked at. Your vet can tell you whether it's something of concern or not.

Prayers from here!

Yes, I have. Hugo had a palm size lump on his neck that seem hard. A needle biopsy showed fat and skin cells so it turned out to be a lipoma that was under or had infiltrated the neck muscle. He has other soft lipomas elsewhere on his body.

Always best to take them to the vet just to be sure.

Yes and No...but after that "no" I tend to over react to any bump and have had lots of "nothings" looked at. Have the vet take a look and have it aspirated. They will be able to find out if it is something scary or not.

Best thoughts for Koda and here's hoping for a "nothing".
