Love the dog park!!

Took Calvin and Hobbes to the dog park for the first time on Saturday. Boy. Did they have fun. There was a good size rain puddle and they played, ran around, and. Made freinds. We then had thunder storms Saturday night and Sunday off and on. They are both afraid of storms. They are exhausted!! Sleeping, sleeping, sleeping. LOVE THE DOG PARK!!! :kgo_027:

Yay for fun and friends at the dog park!

We too Suki once and a dog was mean to her there. She was scared and ran behind us. I am not confident in my dog behavior reading skills enough to know when it's in fun or when it's serious, so we haven't gone back. But I'm so glad you guys had a great time because I think the dogs really do love playing with other dogs!!! And it's so awesome having an open space to run!!!

Sam and I love the dog park, too. That's where he is in my avatar. We visit several different ones when we have opportunity, though there is one very close to my house. I prefer the ones with waterfront access. Sam takes a casual view of the dog park. It is not so much for running and playing (unless we are retrieving), as it is for chatting with other dogs and mooching petting off other dog parents!
