Hi all,
Laughlin will turn 11 on Saturday, March 9th!
I wanted to be able to celebrate him here, with our Newf Net friends before it closes.
He is doing pretty well, in spite of the health challenges he's had over the years.
His Lupus has been pretty well controlled for the last few years. He is susceptible to infections because of the weakened immunity, and we've have had a few scary incidents in the last year that he's thankfully come through with help from our awesome vet. He's now got some arthritis in his legs, and we've started using a Help-em-up harness, but he's still enjoying life, visiting with his friends (human and canine), and happy to get up every morning and bark at me to fix his breakfast.
We haven't got a plan yet for Saturday, but are open to suggestions (that will not upset his tummy, or over tax him).
