Haven't had much of a chance to post here but will try to catch up on what's been happening with all your wonderful newfs. Malia had her total hip replacement last week. She is comming along good. The incision site looks great and she is able to bare weight on the the surgical side. A surgeon from Ohio state flew over to assist the surgeon here. Guess he comes out once a year to update the doctor here. Everything went great. She's back to her usual demanding "pet me mommy" self. As for Boomer...he's had 3 seizures in the last week. Infact, he had a seizure just one hour after we brought Malia home from the hospital. He's on phenobarbitol now. Poor guy, I wish he could calm down. He paces allot. The vet said that the medication may make him more agitated. He doesn't have a clue as to what's happening. He's been such a love bug and seems to want to be constantly laying on my lap (as if it wasn't bad enough before he started the medication. He also wants to lay next to Malia all the time too. Both my newfs want constant and I mean constant lovings. Did I mention that I also have a 17 month old son that needs my constant attention and that we are expecting baby number 2 in February? LOL, I can do this, I know I can! lol! BTW, Happy Birthday Panda

Oh my!! How busy you must be. I'm sorry ot hear how tough things have been, but it's good to hear that your newfs are doing great. Do seizures run high in newfs? I know they do in cockers-I have a cocker who has them, but this is my first experience with newfs.

I do hope your "patients" are feeling better soon. Good luck!
