HE was curious.
HE made me look!

So...Leonard says..."How was it that Buford & Snuffles are cousins?"
So...I pull out his *pedigree* (HA!) papers, type a couple of names in the computer...

Now I have the answer.
Now I know the truth.

Buford's family is from KENTUCKY!
No wonder he's nuts....hell, he's probably MY cousin too! :uhoh2:

Poor Buford, he must sue;
for his relatives are being maligned,
oh yes, and by his very own Mamma too.

So now Buford is so very blue,
to find out Snuffles, Apache and Beau,
are no relation,
is taking him to an all time low.

But never fear, Buford my dear;
for CPO Beau Brat says to adopt you,
and make you a member of our crew,
so that's what we'll do, you hear?

For chosen relatives are always the best,
about this I never jest,
plus it makes you the pick of the litter,
and gives you a good reason to keep your mama all a twitter.

Our crew has a reputation to up hold.
For we are all known for being a bit bold.
And while "Lil Baby Dog" is nice,
"The All That Brat" has a lot more spice,
and we all know about the curio being rolled.

So fit right in you already do,
with all the crashes and flinging goo.
So enjoy your new family tree,
that includes, Snuffles, Apache and me!!!

Best I can tell from what she PM me, there are two common dogs in Lovely's pedigree, but I have no idea if either is from KY.

Cielo Grande's White Knight=Snuffles great grandfather to his Mom's mother

Topmast's Checkers=great great on mom's father's side and great great great on Mom's mother's side

So the question that remains is "Who's the *missing link*"??
