Ugh - I'm so sore and tired. We shoveled snow yesterday for FOUR hours! The dogs are in heaven though.

WOW! It's beautiful! Sorry about the sore muscles, but better you than me! I like snow from Dec. 15-Jan.5.

Good thing I live in Wisconsin where it tends to snow from Jan. 15 to April 30.

Oh how beautiful! We wouldn't get that much snow in two years!! However, I can say that even though I love to look at it and play in it for a while, it gets old fast (for me)!

Sorry you're sore...looks like a LONG winter ahead for you!! But....the dogs will be in HEAVEN!!

If it wasn't for the pups, I would probably absolutely hate the stuff. We have so much fun in snow. While I'm not in any hurry to have any around here, I do think it's a nice change to have everything covered in white. So pretty...

Leave it to the gearhead in the bunch ... :D

Nice F250 diesel, extended cab truck !!

I cheated tho .... I see the block heater cord going into the grille ......

Haha, nope - not a heater. It's a battery charger. There's a leak somewhere and the cold just took what little charge was left. We garage the Ford Explorer Sport :D

That reminds me though. As soon as the snow melts we gotta pull the pick up in the garage. (gonna take some manuveuring ha)

Edited to add - also, not a diesel.

Please tell me you didn't get that much snow in Southern California!

Looks like the dogs are loving it, though.

Check your PM's.

Those pictures are beautiful. Thank you. I'm sorry you're so sore, too. It is a JOB shoveling snow, although we don't ge that much where I am. I know Jackson used to go nuts!! He would shovel with his nose and roll and roll! I know at least the dogs will enjoy it.

This storm was a bit unexpected. It's a part of a weather system called an "Inside Slider". It comes from the north (Nevada) unexpectedly. Anyway, NO ONE knew it was coming. Well, a few did but no one listened to them lol.

We get snow here all the time. It's a bit early though. And the levels were very low (1500 feet putting it in the desert!) It's gotten clear so now it's cold cold cold out.

The day before it snowed, Sean and I were out taking pictures for the Forestry Dept of helicopter tree removal. It was clear and warm. We were in t-shirts even lol. Here's a shot of the helicopter:

THAT"S ALOT OF SNOW RACHEL!
A storm moved from Nevada to Cal! Weird!
I looked at the snow and thought it should be moving into WY in the next couple of days, but if it moved east, probably not.
My husband's grandpa died and we inherited his big snowblower. I'm all ready for big snow here! Can hardly wait. Honey said it probably won't snow much now b/c we have the snowblower. Sell it and we'll get snow!
I wish you could have borrowed the snowblower...could have saved your back & shoulders.
Loved your pictures of the dogs on the deck.
Fun Fun Fun!
