Innova

Does anyone else use Innova or have any feedback? I know it's all human consumables but I'm not seeing it posted anywhere here. Now I'm curious about Wellness brand.

welcome to this wonderful forum! Your little website cracked me up! Maggie , my 7 month old newf is still walking around barking looking for the kitty and the dog barking. I showed her the monitor with the walking dog and she just stared at it! You sound like alot of fun! Never heard of your dog food brand either by the way.

Hi Newfy-love and welcome. I have heard of the Innova food but never used it, I feed Jake the Wellness and he is doing great on it.

We tried Kodi on the Innova since all the ingredients were those that humans could consume and all it did was give him diarrhea. He's now on Martin's K9 Formula.

Innova is a good food, if it isnt't too rich for your dogs system

Wellness is great too, unfortunately, the shops here decided not to sell it anymore.... grrrr! My yorkie was doing great on it, and she has a very sensitive system.
In the meantime I'm still feeding Nutro Natural Lamb and Rice.....
Thinking about Solid Gold....

Mmmm perhaps I should ponder upon changing to Wellness. Our local pet store sells that as well as other human consumable food.

I use Innova adult and have not had any problems. I'm aware some dogs have had loose stool from it, but mine never had. What I like about it is that it's pretty much the same as solid gold, but it already includes a small amount of the sea meal right in the kibble. Solid Gold makes an additive called sea meal which I believe is very good for these dogs. Innova already includes it. You can always add more, but I guess its up to the dog. When I've soaked innova in water, it didn't swell too bad either.

When I've checked into kibble I've found that innova was on the top 10 listed foods for the last 3 years.

I use "back to basic" for regular kibble, and use the innova with the added supplements I choose to give. My dogs actually prefer the innova.

I feel much better. I thought it was good food. I know the problem of loose stools - that happens some times but nothing cheese won't fix. He loves cheese but I WISH I could get him to eat vegetables.
