Indy...the love hound

Indy might be almost 6yo, but he is such a puppy! He runs through the house all day chasing Jasmine, playing with Newman, trying to get all of my attention, etc.

The other night he was so sweet. I had gone to bed about 10 mins before Rich. Indy got in the bed with me so when Rich came to bed I had to get Indy to move over since he was laying on daddy's side. He stood up, Rich got under the covers, Indy scoots in between us, stretches out and lays his head on Rich's chest and goes to sleep.

I think he loves his new home

He looks so much better than he did. He has put on weight, his hair is growing back beautifully, and he is the CLUMSIEST thing I have ever seen on 4 feet. What a riot! He comes when you call Newman, when you call Collins, when you call Jasmine, when you just look at him. I assume he thinks he's gonna miss out on something if he doesn't come to investigate.

Just an update for you guys. Don't ask me to post pictures...PM Rich. I am NOT the computer person here...I don't even know how to work the digital camera!

Shawn,

I am go glad that Indy is doing so well. He always was the clown and he has the personality to match.

I hope you and Rich make it to the get together this summer as we would love to see him again. I wonder if he will remember us and our place. He loved to swim in our pond and play up and down the fence with the horses next door. No matter how much fun he was having he always came when called. I think he is the nosiest newf alive!!

What a wonderful post, and a wonderful testimonial for rescue! When I think of Indy's life before he was rescued, and his life after he was rescued..... WOW!!!

Oh Shawn - what a great post! I'm sitting here grinning from ear to ear! I can totally relate, since Troy is a rescue too (I thank God every day of my life for Annie and Russell)! To watch him gain weight and spunk and trust has been the most thrilling feeling of my life!!! Tell Rich to post before and after pics, please!
