Ice storm

I am going to attempt to post some pictures of the Ice storm. If I am successful..the first picture was taken Sat AM. The Ice started Friday night, and the power was out almost immediately. Another picture is of the same Mimossa tree a day or two later. The next is of all the trees down around me that crushed my fences, Now I have a huge cleanup/repair to deal with.

Good Lord!!!!it is a beautiful sight , but trecherous to say the least.glad you guys are OK

Beautiful ice - but what a huge mess!! So glad no one at your place was hurt, and you now have power!!

That is a heart-breaking amount of damage..and I am just imagining what it looked like from the air. Rest as can..and so glad you stayed close to your critter family. Hugs, ina n HB

Wow. The ice on the trees is beautiful in the sunlight the next morning....but it's such a headache to clean up after. Hope you didn't lose too many trees.

A friend of mine lives in Rochester New York, where the Highland Lilacs are so popular. They had a huge ice storm a few years ago, and lost a LOT of the lilacs in the park, and she said nearly all of the old trees along the streets were ruined, too.
