Ice Storm Trauma... OT

I just wanted to publicly take this time to thank God for the gift he gave us a couple of nights ago. Our daughter's boyfriend had borrowed our car (his was getting fixed) to get to work on Thursday night. On his way home he spun out of control, slammed into a telephone pole and totaled our car. He walked away from it without a scratch!! The officer who arrived on the scene had just got done telling another family that their son, who was in a similar crash, had not been so fortunate (he died).

The scariest part is that my daughter was supposed to have gone in with Ryan (they work in the same location). She had not been feeling well and didn’t go with him that night. Had she gone, she would have been killed instantly- her side of the car (the passenger's side) was totally decimated and caved in, where it hit the pole.

Thank you Father, for being such a merciful God!!!!

I had tears in my eyes while reading that. Thank God Ryan is all right, and that your daughter was sick. There is definitely someone watching over us down here! I'll say a thank you prayer to our God above.

Oh Karen, thank God! I work in our local Emergency Room, there is nothing worse than young people injured and calling their parents. He sure did have an angel on his shoulder.
