Well,as some of you know we have a grandson that is now 2 1/2, his Daddy and Mommy got married this past May (that is good, I guess). Well, now she is pregnant. I love our grandson, he is the best. Part of me is very happy about another (boy I hope) but the other part of me is saying how the heck can they take care of another human when they can hardly take care of what they have!!!! I love my son, he works hard. My daughter in law is always looking for a crisis and doesn't work(sore subject with us). (I don't know how I worked 40 hours/week with 2 babies). Now, our grandson is just plain wonderful....bratty but wonderful
This is a picture of Papa, holding Jeffrey, with Daddy driving the boat.

That is a sweet picture..and also..shows..metaphorically (sp.?) ;) speaking..that we do all, design our lives..as a 'cruise'..into often..uncharted waters. A LOT..of learning..takes place..on such a cruise.
Hugs, ina n HB

I still say Grandkids are Gods gifts to us for not killing our children when they were younger. I've got 6 grandchildren, my oldest daughter now has 4. The first two boys she never married the father, the third but first girl she married but divorced in a couple of years, the 2nd girl and her 4th is now over a year old, and while they are engaged aren't married. Daughter #2 is now engaged to someone who is not the father of her almost 2 year old daughter and my youngest daughter is married and has a boy. Well one out of 6 isn't bad huh! LOL
I tell you this because I wouldn't trade any of my 6 in for the world! In fact the middle daughter, Shannon's almost 2 year old, Elena is Mamaw's girl and sometimes Shannon has to call me at night or Elena won't go to bed because she hadn't talked to me yet that day. We went out to dinner with the youngest daughter, her husband and Cody tonight. No matter what happens in the future, those grandchildren are your rewards and you will love them regardless. They are the gems in the middle of a rough world! Enjoy and congratulations! :D

Although a sore subject, may as well not dwell on what you don't have control over.

You'll have another wonderful Grand child to spoil and then send home!! :D

Congratulations Grama!
Great picture BTW!
