Great that you get to come!! What town is the Ramada Inn located? If it is in Dayton you will have about a 45 minute drive depending on what part of town.

You can check the info link I posted awhile back there are lots of hotels here in Greenville that will have rooms that do not accept dogs. Try the Holiday Inn Express or the Comfort Inn. They are minutes away.

Go here and click on the correct link to information, rules and hotels.

Gwyn,

When you get your flight times let me know so I can be sure someone can pick you up at the airport. That goes for anyone who is flying in!!!

So glad you're going to be able to make it! I met a lady in another internet group, and she was coming to visit, on her way to a vacation down south. BOTH of our husbands were skeptical, saying, "for all we know, they could be ax murderers"....it was so funny, because the guys hit it off immediately and our kids got along so well. I think you can tell nice people, whether it's face to face, or through a computer monitor.

Hey Gwyn,

On second thoughts maybe your are putting your life in danger. All these drooling newfs I am sure you will be covered with drool, slime and dog hair. Not to mention soaked from wet shaking newfs. Or maybe we will make you official drowning victim!! So you can tell your hubby you drowned about (as Annie says) a gazillion times.

Well. I just called around to the the hotels. they are all preaty reasonable. Is anyone else doing the hotel thing? The advantage to the Ramada was they had an out door pool :D but I guess Jeannie has the pond.

I don't see why everyone is so excited about a pool at the hotel. I bet everyone will be here LATE each night--especially Saturday--and will be too wiped out to take a swim. After all you are going to be swimming all day long anyway!!

Hi Dogger,
It's so great that you can make it! I think some of us are staying at the Comfort Inn in Piqua OH, about 30 min from Jeannie. We'd love to have you join us. They take dogs there too so you'll never have to go a minute without seeing a Newf!

Having enjoyed myself immensley in Jeannie's pond last summer... I can safely say that I'd rather be there than in a pool filled with chlorine!!!

Time to kill??? I am sure I will have lots of things I can find for you to do. It may not be relaxing around a pool, but you will be around a lot of newfs. To me that a more than fair trade
