:(This will be my fifth time taking students to Germany for 19 days and I have been copying and writing assignments for the last week. I'm already tired, and the plane hasn't even taken off! I would really rather stay home with DH and the dogs! Last time I went, Maddie was so mad at me for leaving her, that she wouldn't come to me or let me pet her for 2 hours after I got home! Who knows how she will react this time!

:icon_knuddel:And who knows.....you might get the chance to be in the general vicinity of the Michelle/Eric fam...You could get your Newfie fix there

Enjoy it! I know you've been before but its an opportunity that a lot of people don't ever get. (at least that's what I was always told as a child each time we left the country and it must have stuck)

Oh suzanne, I can relate...I once had a dog that would shun me for three days..exactly....then he would approach me and smile...and say "OK I forgive you" happened every time..

Suzanne, I feel for you. I'm too old to travel with students anymore and I HATE leaving Seamus. Maddie will be happy when you come home, I'm sure!
Have a great time!
