How do get started with water work?

Hi folks,

My newf is almost 4 and I was thinking about trying to getting started doing some water work with him. I thought it would be a fun summer activity that he might actually be into since he's always so hot and lazy in the summer.

Thing is... I'm not sure how to get started. I know nothing about this-- have never even seen it done (unless you count youtube) and I looked online for classes and what not and can't find anything. We live just south of San Francisco, and I'm looking for something relatively close by. I did get some names of people who I emailed and I am waiting to hear back from, but I thought some of you might also be able to help!

Anyone have any suggestions on how to get started? Thanks!

There's a water seminar near Sacramento at the end of June I think. I know it's a bit of a drive.

The site will also have the dates for the water test near Livermore. I went to the test last year and really learned a lot. There are some very experienced people out there who have been doing this for decades.
