Jenny and I (vinnie) got our baby at 7 weeks he is 10 weeks old now. We both are teachers in 2 different school districts here on long island...she teaches "k" and I teach gym....we have the summers off and always go on the boat and to the beach...so i am hopping this dog will love it also....right now during the day my sister works out of our house as a draft person for an architect...so she gets to play with the dog while we are gone....other that that...i just want to thank everyone with all of your help in answereing many of my questions that i have had.

yes my puppies name is banks..we named him that for the fishing grounds off the coast of Newfoundland...ya know near the flemish cap where the Andrea Gail went down in the PERFECT STORM...we had so many names up in the air and when my brotherinlaw came up with this one we just liked the meaning behind it...the only thing i hate about it is that most people probably think it is because of money or something ....but it goes deeper than that

Hi, Vinnie and welcome to a great bunch of Newf people and dogs. Banks is a great name. Any Newf-lover would know you mean the Grand Banks,so don't worry about the name. BTW, saw your other query. Hope you got good news and shots at the Vets today. Best of luck and welcome again.

we definitly will be coming to that doggy fun day or what ever you all call it....we just have to wait a littl ewhile more until he gets his next set of shots ...at least that is what the vet and the breeder told me.....but soon after that we definitly will be there
