Also..you may find that proportionately for size..a newf requires a lot less food than a lab..so you may be expecting him to eat more than he actually NEEDS.

OMG - scared to type this - but Archie is eating, 4 days in a row. Normal Pellets, Vets choice, for giant breeds!

I may just have to do the dance of joy:dance01:

Thanks for all your support through this, there were nights I could have cried.
 
Congratulations!!! So glad you waited through it all. Debra is right - you have around 3 weeks before you start seeing normal behaviors, including eating.

Archie looks like such a love! And, I think all of us completely understand the feeling of being near tears fearing for one's Newf. I do it all the time - and they're HEALTHY for the most part!! I'm such a wuss!

I'm dancing right along with you!

he is 47kg (103.4lbs), the vet says needs to be at least 60kg (132lbs).

He is 82cm (32.3 inches) at the withers and 98 cm (38.6 inches ) from neck nape to before tail base.

What do you guys think?
