Help-- Bump on eyelid

Brutus has this weird bump on his lower eyelid. We noticed it yesterday in the morning, and we don't know if we should take him to the vet or just wait and see if it goes away. He is acting normal and doesn't seem bothered by it- he hasn't rubbed at it or anything and he's eating fine and all that.

Has anyone seen anything like this before? Could it be a zit/ sty? Or maybe a bug bite? Or is it some kind of infection we should be worried about?

Abbey had one just like it on the upper eyelid. We were camping at the time and I assumed it was a bug bite. It was completely gone in 3 days. Just keep an eye on it that it doesn't get worse.

Our Mack gets those a lot when he spends most of the day outside, it's usually an iritated mosquito bite.. I just keep an eye on it make sure it goes away and there is no yellowish-green discharge from the eye indicating an infection.

Roger and Merlin have had their share...It will probably go away..Just keep an eye on it.

I agree. This doesn't sound particularly serious. But you don't want his cornea rubbed either.

Just keep YOUR eye on it...not his.
