Hello all...

I guess I've been lurking here, too. I found out about Newf Net about two months ago, from Patty (who has Akira (?) and Chance).

SO...my name is Karen and I am owned by Tatonka and Shelby. Tatonka is a 2year old neutered black male who I got when he was 6 months old. He's up to 150lbs now and he's BIG! Shelby is my rescue girl. She's a 2 year old spayed grey female who weighed all of 70 lbs. when she came to me in March of last year. She's up to 110 lbs now, her coat has grown in, her teeth are no longer yellow and she's just the sweetest dog!

Tatonka and Shelby are my third and fourth newfs. I got my first one, Storm, way way way back in 1982. This is my breed - and I know you all know what I mean.

So, hi all. I look forward to keeping in touch and hearing all your stories.

"Dances with wolves"......that is one of my all time favorite movies !
