Helium anybody ?

Can anybody think up a good excuse to get some helium for the get together? We sure had a lot of fun with it.

I remember the helium for the balloons for the parade. HUMMM.......Maybe we will need to get balloons for the mail box so everyone will know where to go. Not that the huge tent and newfies and cars wouldn't be a dead give away

We could tie different colors balloons to the newfs' collars so we know who is who

You need to be a member of Yahoo to login and here it. I figured most everyone had a yahoo membership. Don't know of anywhere else to hear it. It is also not as good as the live version, but it is still pretty cool.

OK, just looked at the video. I'd forgotten what a bad video it was. The song is great, though. I was even happier to see the video of Lukey. Great Big Sea with the Chieftains.

Logan, that sounded like someone doing a (bad) cover of it.

On GBS' website there is a short clip here. However it is the slow part of the song so you don't get the full effect

.

I'm fairly certain that Mari Mac is a traditional Newfoundland song that GBS performs, so I'm not sure the clip logan found can be called a "bad cover"...
