Well we had a great night! Hubby stayed up til about 12.30am then settled lumpkin and came to bed, i had the alarm set for 3.30am to check on him so at 3.30 i took him in the garden for a wee and put him back to bed and then he woke up this morning about 6.45am which is pretty darn good!!

NO howling, no crying, no whining, no poos.. just one wee which was done after 3.30am as was dry then but he'd gone on the paper by the door. So proud of my little man!!

Hooray for progress! Reminds me of my first three days with Timber when she came home.

I hope so!! Hubby said he was ready to come to bed at 12am but lumpkin was wide awake for play.

Tuesday night with him was great as well, he went through the whole night with no barking then as well.

The entire time we have had his crate in the kitchen as he's avoided it like the plague but when i came down at 4am he was asleep inside it and went back in after a wee so maybe hes had a change of heart on it.. he has the whole kitchen and the crate which we leave open but this is the first time hes chosen to go in it himself.

Fingers crossed for more happy nights!

See. Patience pays off, but don't expect him to be perfect from now on. Many times it's two steps forwards and one step back, but congratulations.
