Hard to let them go...

Hi everyone...

Tonight was a very hard night for me emotionally...

After watching my brothers yellow lab, Odin, for over six weeks, I had to let him go... Back to his "daddy" who does nt take the best care of him anyways... :-(

I cried even before we left my house... I cried driving Odin to Joes apartment...

I cried and cried all the way home to the point of it blurring my vision and almost hitting a moose...

I cried after I got home... And I'm still crying!

Why is this so hard?!....

Does anyone have any advice on how to make it hurt any less?...

Thanks in advance,
Ramona Anne

Unfortunately...no. But the hurt is a tangible part of love. Without it, we wouldn't be human. Try to embrace it as a sign of your own compassion.

Lots of hugs.

Oh, I know how you hurt! But, it is a part of loving an animal or a human. That is what makes life special and worth living. We are blessed because we do love and are loved! Maybe you can help your brother raise Odin.
