Happy 11 Year and 7 Months Birthday Snuffles

This fall Snuffles seems to be holding his own. I did take him off of thyroid meds. I started because he was low normal, but was putting on weight. He was on a VERY LOW does for his size. The vet was concerned he was losing weight too quick, and he did seem like he was getting weaker in his rear end, and we could not afford that given the bum left leg. I do think he is doing better in the rear end now that he is off.

Fall seems to be a bad time of year in general. If you Facebook users have "Memories" turned on, seems a lot of his major medical issues are popping up. So right now I am feeling pretty good since nothing really bad seems to be going on this fall.

My wife asked if you have researched Turmeric at the turmeric users group (TUG) on Facebook?
She gives it to our three newfs and says it is called the golden paste. The only drawback I have found is it stains whatever it comes in contact with.

Thanks! I don't know if it was a good present or bad, but we have a new 8 week old Newf female puppy in the next block he met today. Look for pictures soon.

Thanks. The lady that does Snuffles massage uses organic turmeric with her Newfs. I should do it, but I probably won't. He already gets high dose of wild caught sockeye salmon oil and hyaluronic acid as well acupuncture and chiropractic adjustments monthly.
