Grooming Table Height?

Okay, I simply can't groom my pups on the floor any longer -my back needs a break. I have already decided that the Champagne grooming table will last probably forever for us and I don't have a problem spending extra $$ for something sturdy and that I won't regret. However, I can't decide whether I should get an adjustable height grooming table or not. It seems that 24" seems to be the standard height and, of course would be better for a Newf - if healthy enough - to be able to pretty much get up and down on it's own. But, I wonder if that still will be too low for me, even if I sit on a chair. I understand that 30" would be too high for our pups to comfortably and safely jump up/down yet I feel we could provide some sort of step or whatever to solve that problem/concern. And no, we don't show, but I do want something that will be practical. I know I'll have my pups both lay down and stand on the table so I'll be getting the 42" long - otherwise, should I:
get the 24" high
or
get the adjustable?
and, why...?

I keep my adjustable at 24 inches and have never noticed a problem. I usually dont spend more than 45 minutes grooming at dog shows but I have rheumatoid arthritis and it is also in my back so I got an adjustable just in case. I am 5 foot 6 inches and have never had to adjust the height over 24 inches.

I have an adjustable table and I have it set on the lowest notch....20". You have to take into account how tall your newf is going to be on the table. If your table is too high you won't be able to reach comfortably.
I put the table up to 24" when I do Hannah, but she's a peanut...only 23 1/2 inches tall herself. She jumps onto the table from an ottoman that I keep just for that purpose.....

Kala and Lacy are both "peanuts" too. I'm about 5'6" - maybe a tad taller. I don't think I'll mind reaching, it's the bending that I'd like to eliminate...
Champange's table only goes down to 24" - which table adjusts to 20"?

I have the Champagne 24" non-adjustable. I works well when I'm standing because of the dog's height but equally as well when I'm sitting. I also got a comfy swivel saddle type stool that rolls around for when I don't want to stand. The dogs can get on and off without any trouble but I also have folding steps for when they get too old to hop on the table.

I got the non-adjustable one because it's light enough to take to shows.

I tall depends on how tall you are and how big your newf is. I got an adjustable table and I have it at its lowest height. Other people put it higher.

Okay, I double checked.....I was wrong about the table. It goes from 24" to 34". It is a good sturdy table. I believe the maker is Southwest or Southwestern. The seller I bought it from shipped very promptly and I am very happy with the table. It is holding up well.
I am trying to post a link to it on ebay, but not having any luck...I will keep trying. The seller is petcareguys.

I've got the Champagne adjustable and it's lowest height is 24". I jack it up if I'm grooming a smaller dog or a Newf puppy. I schlep it to shows too. Ignorance is bliss I guess...I don't know about a weight difference b/t the adustable and non. BTW, you won't BELIEVE the service you'll be doing for your back. If you don't have one, get a dryer too. Even if you don't show, it's a huge help.

Yeah, a dryer is on my list, too...but that'll be a little later...right now I need to groom them more to begin with, I have tendency to put it off because I hate doing it on the floor -
And, I do like the idea of an adjustable only because you never know what size Newf the future may bring...
I also like the swivel grooming chairs -
