Thank you everyone. Kody was a very special boy, he had a broken jaw as a puppy and therefore his lower jaw never grew. So his top jaw did not meet the lower by nearly two inches. But he never knew he was different. He figured out how to eat and was a slim 163 lbs. He was a Therapy dog and loved children and adults, and all animals. he had that sense of when someone needed him, the true newfy disposition. His beautiful Irish spotted coat was striking, and he always drew attention, especially when he pulled his little wooden cart to the farmer's market in town. He was a cuddler always, and loved to be brushed and groomed. He was so gentle and easy going, considered everyone his friend. I remember when I took him to the middle school to visit the special ed class and each child took turns coming up to pet him as he lay on his side. He was so very special. And now he is perfect once again, able to run free.
