Getting up on a Grooming table?????

I've been grooming my guy of 140 pounds on the ground and its killing my back etc....How do you guys get your dogs up on a grooming table and how high is it? Thanks in advance

Our table is custom built to my specs (we built it) you can also saw off the legs of a store bought table if you want
Gracie has no problems jumping up or off of the table. We started by puting treats on it, she'd put her front legs up and we'd hike her up. She learned very quickly to just jump.
She's never gotten hurt from it.
You could also try a step stool or something similar.
