First Cart recommendation?

I just KNOW this has been discussed, but I'm not finding it... We'd like to get Ben a cart to work with - maybe by next 4th of July tote some kiddos around in it. Any recommendations?

Judy Adler's book says we might go through a few before we find the right one, but that's not really in our projected budget!

Thanks for any insight!

I have the small WIN competition cart from Wilczek Woodworks (they do make larger ones if you want to haul a kid). Dog Works also makes a small competition cart and a larger cart. Check out both their sites. www.wilczekwoodworks.com and www.dogworks.com You can also find plans to build a cart yourself. I also have a wagon that can pull kids (you need a different type shaft for those) but can convert an ordinary kids wagon. If you don't want to compete a wagon may be less expensive, I'm not sure.

Cart compared to wagon is about same price if buy from Wilczek Woodworks or Dogworks. If you're interested in doing draft tests get a 2-wheel cart otherwise just get a 4 wheel wagon for giving rides to kids.

There are plans out there for making your own.
