Favorite liquid refreshment

Either leaded or unleaded.

Background story here .

At the moment it is a rum and coke, however I have been known to enjoy a bourbon & coke or a Canadian whiskey and coke depending on a set of circumstances that is impossible to quantify let alone explain.

In the late spring & early fall I usually brew up a couple of batches of beer to last through the summer/winter (usually the only time that I drink beer). It is usually a lighter lager for the summer and a porter or stout for the winter.

For the unleaded versions I'm usually drinking coffee or our own water (we have a cistern which collects the rain water and tastes great).

Leaded-- I don't drink mixed drinks

My leaded choice is " Drambuie " in a rocks glass, with no rocks.. it makes me dance on tables

My unleaded choice is the new diet vanilla coke...love that! My leaded choices are a thick bloody mary mixed with a little chunky horseradish and lemon...right now I'm sipping my saturday evening white zin. Dh doesn't use the leaded stuff anymore but sometimes ..a woman has to do what a woman has to do .

I guess I will join the party pooper gang. Pepsi, milk, water and fruit juices is about all I drink. Never have liked the taste of alcohol. Gary will be a member of this gang also. His list would include hot tea, Mt. Dew, sprite, pepsi and gallons of water. Anyone else joining our party pooper gang??? OOPS, add ice tea for me in the summer

I guess I would fall into the party pooper catagory to, at least drink wise.. ..1 mixed drink and I'm sleeping

and personally I think beer tastes icky!!! But then again I've been known to dance on a table or two without the benefits of alcohol to blame it on!!!

Hey if you wont do it sober whats the fun when you cant remember it!! Besides when you do it sober your friends cant embelish what you did cuz you actually remember it!!

As for getting going in the AM its a cup of tea, with sugar and milk....thats what happens when you start drinking tea when your 5 yrs old with the old ladies that lived next door!! sweet and milky stays with you for life!!!

Other than that its usually water, juice, milk or iced tea for me!

Unleaded - I usually prefer water, but if I need something to stay awake in the morning I'll drink tea. Later in the day, Diet Coke with Lemon. But caffeine hits me pretty hard, so I don't use it very often. Generally stick with water, juice, milk.

Hmmm....

I use leaded for caffiene. So I have to give two here.

Leaded - Caffiene
Jolt Cola: All the sugar and twice the caffiene. Along with pop-tarts is is breakfast of IT champions.

Leaded - Alcohol

Tennents Lager: Real tough to get at all almost impossible to get on tap. (Only place this side of the pond that I have seen it on Tap is in the England exhibit in EPCOT.)

My Beverage of Choice is Diet Pepsi WITH caffeine. On the rare occasion that I will drink alcohol, I enjoy a beer, and prefer dark creamy stouts... there's a restaurant here in Dayton called the Thirsty Dog... it's a "brew-pub"... and the names of all brews are dog related. My favorite is "The Old Leghumper!!!"

In his pre-diabetic home-brewing days, Russell had always planned to brew up a stout and call it the "Black Bitch Stout". He never got around to it... and that's a same. I can see the label now... it would have been too fun.

Alcoholic: (Rarely) There can be only one: Guinness

Caffinated: Locally roasted coffee (http://www.mokaman.com/) ground in my Pavoni burr grinder and pressed in my Pavoni Espresso machine. http://www.gad.net/Coffee.html. Add to properly foamed milk for Cappuccino. I also drink far too much Coke.

Non-Caffinated: Water

I like pepsi, dr.pepper,iced tea and water. Dont like milk or coffee But I do like hot tea in the winter.

Just got a new supply of Kona coffee...my Mom just got home. Iced tea also rocks.

Captain Morgan & Coke is the first choice. After that, it depends on the mood. I'll just say some nights are scarier than others!

Leaded: One of my strawberry daquiries. i'm also a sucker for those creamy drinks - Baileys, etc. Love Cointreau too. (now I sound like an alcoholic!)

Unleaded: Vanilla coke is damn good, but I really love Tang. Yes you read right - Tang. Make it strong please.

Oops - forgot to mention my drink of choice.

By day - I'm a '3 Diet Mountain Dews' a day gal in addition to lots of water.

By night - (not too often ) it's either something mixed with a very yummy vodka, or a nice tart margarita on the rocks with lots of salt.

Although I was born and raised in WI, the beer thing and I just never clicked. Go figure? I'm also not a Packer fan....go Vikes!!!

Leaded - Coors Light. I'm not much of a mixed drink person, unless it's the occasional Caesar.

Non-Leaded: Coffee - 1 Lg. Tim Horton's Mocha in the morning to get me going.

Non-Leaded2: Water.

Leaded:
There are a few categories of leaded favorites.
all-time favorite - gin & tonic w/lime. A classic.
beer - James Page Brown Ale (local)
girly - Smirinoff Ice or Malibu rum w/ pineapple juice
cheap - A bottle of El Toro and a straw. Arriba!!

Unleaded: There's nothing like a hot chai tea latte in the morning!
Also, after a night of drinking too much of anything in the "leaded" category, WATER is good!

oh yummy i just tried last nite after working on the house an arbor mist wine blender!!! yummmmmy!
wine normally gives me a weird headache but this was yummy and i just had two of them, i got an ice headache though hee hee!

Unleaded -leaded, 2 cups of starbucks french roast in the am, Diet coke to keep me going through the day... Need an extra pick me up? Then it is a double short, non-fat, light chocolate, extra hot, extra foam mocha.... From starbucks only.
Also Tazo teas, hot or cold does not matter.
Leaded; I love a good wine with dinner, generally a dry chard or if is red Kiona Zinfendal is very nice, so is a full sangiovese.
I am a bad German, I hate Beer (ick blick)
But for the fully leaded leaded? A cosmopolatain up made with absolute (yum yum
