Well the time has finally come. Amy and I are meeting on Sunday which means that Tayla and Rory will be seeing each other for the first time since all the puppies went to their new homes.One of the girls brothers, Chewy may also be coming. We are meeting at the beach (an appropriate place for water loving Newfies).
I can hardly wait. We will take lots of pics so be prepared.
Thanks again to Shawn's detective work. Without you this reunion may never have happened. For all those new Newf Netters, Shawn realised that Amy and I both lived in Melbourne Australia and had puppies about the same age. Turns out that the girls are indeed sisters. What a small world.

I am really excited about this!

And Nicole, Chewy is coming too!

I'm really interested to see their reactions to each other. Rory is often slightly intimidated by other Newfs (or any large dog she doesn't know well) so we'll see what happens!

Amy, I was getting ready to email you and find out the details and if ya'll had made plans yet.
I want to know all the details and some pics would be nice too.
My only regret is: I WANT TO BE THERE TOO!!!
But with me in South Carolina and you in Australia, I don't think I'll make it this time.

Aussie Land! I've ALWAYS wanted to go. Unfortunately for someone terrified of flying, 14 hours is a leeetle too long of a "hop across the pond". Especially with a Newfy that's already sensitive to my moods.

I will have to gather the courage to go at least once in my lifetime, though. I'll be sure to look you guys up.


Hey, just wondered about something. Melbourne - isn't that where the Crocodile Hunter resides? I love that crazy guy!

You'll just have to find the time and money to take a slow boat over there (or sign on as a crewman on a tramp steamer (or are those days over with?
)).

Crocodile Hunter? Oh, Steve ( I had cable a year or so ago). When I first read it I thought that you were talking about the real guy that Paul Hogan made famous. I heard a story that he got killed in a bar fight a couple of years ago. Which when you think about it is probably the second best way for him to go (apart from getting turned into croc poop
).

Nah, the crocodile hunter hangs out in Queensland, where it's hot all the time. So he can wear his little khaki shorts all year round.


He has a theme park up there - well more like a crocodile park thingy. I was near there last month but I didn't go. Next time I would maybe make the effort to.

Actually, he's MUCH bigger in the US than he is in Australia. He's only starting to get popular here now, in the last year or so. Strange, isn't he?!?

Yes you all must come here. You are all welcome to look up me and my Newf!
