Extremely Confused...

I would like to enter this into this contest: http://www.bluebufftradingcards.com/:

...and the one requirement that has me really confused is that the photo must be at 300 dpi. This of course led to a further bewildering internet search on what dpi is and how to change it...I have the photo in iPhoto and its size is 2112 x 2816 (pixels?) I am terrible with computers--does anyone know if this should/can be changed or is the photo okay as it is?

dpi stands for dots per inch. meaning the number of pixels for every square inch in your picture. The higher the dpi the better the resolution for them to print if they decide to use it. If you have photoshop you can see what resolution your picture was taken. If you don't know just send me a link or the original photo and I can fix it for you in about 10 seconds.

DPI is irrelevant. It's a setting that can be changed. Tonkatruck can hook you up I'm sure.
