Excellent read

I just finished reading "The Other End of the Leash" by Patricia McConnell and highly recommend it to any of you who are trying to understand your beloved doggies better. The author has a lot of experience in primatology and discussed the many ways in which primates and canids are alike and different. She is also an animal behaviorist and discusses her experiences in training dogs, many who come to her with behavior problems. Very interesting.

I agree! I haven't checked this topic in a while or I would have posted sooner, but I also read McConnell's book recently and thought it was one of the better dog behavior books I have read--and entertaining too. She has some different ways of looking at things that I plan to use in Ajax's training. I recommend it highly too.
