Droopy eyes

Do all newfs get droops eyes?

No, in fact their eyes should be tight. Boagies are not. She has somewhat of a droopy eye. My sister says she is cross eyed, but what the heck does she know?

I'm certainly not an expert, but from what I've observed, there seem to be a lot of newfs with slightly droopy eyelids...moreso in the ones with the "Saint-tupe" head. Maggie's were droopier when she was little, but seem to be getting less droopy as she gets larger.

I'm sure some of the more "newf literate" members can offer their expertise on the subject.

When Stoli was a puppy, I could always tell when he was going to hit a growing spurt because the skin on his face would get really loose and his eyes would be very droopy. Then, a few days later, he'd be much huger (like that word?) and his eyes would tighten up again. They're pretty tight right now except when he's really tired.

Newman has really droopy eyes. He had both operated on at an early age for "cherry eye."

Collins & Indy have tight eyes.
