Dogsitting for a month+1/2

My grandmother, and grandfather are going to Flordia to sail a boat back and decided to ask us to watch their dog for a month + 1/2, well Jake is a Airdale Terriert and is very protective of his food,toys,masters and bones,and Murphy is really stupid when Jake gets up from his bone Murphy tries to take it and ends up getting snapped at.Well it will be a long month and a half , so they better become friends.

Good luck! Maybe this will give you a chance to retrain their dog, and teach him that snapping isn't acceptable at your house. (Meanwhile, try to keep Murphy from absconding with the other dog's belongings). Let us know how it's going.
