During the week my Husband walks our 3 dogs mid-day. He has several locations he takes them to for a leashed walk or if he's pressed for time he just walks around our neighborhood. Now that the days are getting longer I take one or two of the youngest dogs (the Newfs) for a 2nd walk around our neighborhood. McGee our male rescue New is 2 years old and on the 2nd walk he is very relaxed with very little pulling and he is following me home pooped out on the way back. Yesterday my husband took the dogs around the neighborhood (first walk) and he said that McGee was acting like he does on his 2nd walk. Is it possible that he finds these walks less interesting than the ones to the park or the beach? I am waiting to hear today how his first walk goes. They are going to the park. If he's back to his normal excited self I won't worry...but if he's dragging again - I wonder if I need to take him in to the Vet?
