This morning a customer's daughter brought in a Yorkie for grooming. She said "Mom said to cut her real short for summer." The first thing through my mind was a complete strip down. So I told her "Short is a very vague term. How short?" She didn't know so I called her mom. She wanted a Yorkie groom but a bit shorter. If I had not asked questions, like a groomer should in this type of situation, I'd have had a very unhappy customer.
