Well, here I am back from 2 weeks of vacationing in Florida and San Diego. We had a wonderful time and now I'm sooo exhausted! We did Florida for the first week then hopped on a couple of planes, got home, then left for a week in San Diego at the comic convention there. We had such a good time.
Florida was really humid and rained a lot. I guess I'm crazy because I loved that weather even though no one else did. We went to all of the Disney World parks. Suprisingly none of them were too crowded and we got on all of the rides pretty easily. Fast Passes are fabulous things! Our favorite parks were Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom. My family made me ride the scary rides
!! I seriously cried and almost jumped out of the Splash Mountain ride. I HATE that drop at the end. Once I did it though I realized it wasn't so bad. The craziest ride was the Expedition to Everest ride in the Animal Kingdom. If I'd known how scary it was I never would have gotten on it but it was fun and I'm glad I experienced it. The safari at Animal Kingdom was really awesome too! We had a little family reunion while in FL and we met some people who we now love and hope to see again soon so that was really cool.
The convention in San Diego was insane. It was unbelievably crowded. We feel like the crowds took a lot away from the experience but we were able to pick up some cool things there. We like comic art and we got some pieces that we really treasure.
All of our fur kids fared really well while we were gone. I've never left them for so long and I was anxious to see them. Our neighbors did an awesome job of watching over them all. We're so lucky to have people like that around us.
