My husband and I just started to snowshoe in the woods behind our house. Currently we have about 14 inches of wet deep snow, is it safe to take the dogs with us or would this deep snow put undue stress on their hips and joints?
I am no expert in snow, TG;, however it does snow here on occasion and it's wet and we have had over 12 " in the past. The Newfs coped very well with that so I can't see they will come to any harm.
