I recently bought 1/2 cow and it was extremely tough. We turned most of the muscle meat into Jerky and Canned some of it. What was left was alot of fat and grizzle (also alot of good meat). I cooked this up the other day and froze it thinking I could feed it to my finicky newfs who are under weight..is this a good plan? My finicky newfs don't eat much normally but when I add extra goodies they induge.
