I just finished this book and it's Amazingly Fun, Heartwarming and REAL
Pros You Will Laugh, You will Cry, You will ENJOY
Cons Can't think of any...
This is more than "just a romance novel". Sure, there's romance... and it's wonderful. However, it goes deeper. You get to know the two main characters... you get to see them when they're "not at their best"... when they are real, and human. This story does not sugar coat romance.... it gives a clear picture... that anything worth having is worth working for. It promotes honest communication... it encourages you to look inside deeply.
Best of all, this book promotes "responsible pet ownership"... which is something that is near and dear to my heart. Heck, the OFA is even mentioned!
And, most of all, it's got a Newf in it. A big, sloppy, furry, drooly newf. The author gives a very clear description of what it is like to live with a Newf. It's a wonderful breed... my favorite... but not a breed for everyone.
I highly recommend this book. It made me laugh out loud in a hospital waiting room. It made me laugh out loud in the cafeteria at work. Yes people look.. and I didn't care. I just continued to read. And, it made me late to work! Don't miss this book. It's wonderful!
