At 4 weeks after surgery Raven still toe touchs a lot and even though she has stopped whining we are just concerned.

Two more weeks for xrays but l was hoping she would be more stable by now.it doesnt help that she seems ok but then wants to run ,jump and play like a loon and this in turn majes her leg sore whereas first thing in the morning she uses it more normally.

I am doing the physio and no signs of pain and she is fine on her small walks .

Is it normal to still toe touch so much

Have asked but he says it depends on the dog.
Not much help and its a long way to get her rexrayed and work commitments atm are not giving me much free time.

Tonight she is walking ok on it but just concerned

I can only speak from katy experience and my friends dog... they both walked normal at day one.... i think we were very lucky.

Xrays booked for next week if l can shake off the flu .

For some weird reason she seems to have turned the corner more this last week so maybe she has just gotten over all the soreness.

The bill so far and thank heavens l have good insurance equates to £5,000 $7500 us or $10,000 Canadian.
So its a big warning to all newf owners get the best insurance you can afford.even if she blows her other side we have more than enough left in the pot to get it fixed and a bit left over.

Its not cheap getting these babies fixed.
