I used to live in TX, I can imagine that's a big improvement for them. They are beautiful and I'm glad to hear Catie is doing so well.

Catie and Ruby look great. I'm so glad you've been able to keep Catie comfortable. I hope she continues to have many more good days.

I too, hope that Catie's days are filled with Newfy grins and belly scritches. Be proud of yourself for focusing on her comfort and happiness. I don't have any experience with the Oxygen Element that you mentioned. What is it?

Thanks but my wife deserves most of the credit, she is cooking an anti-cancer "diet for dogs" we found on the internet. We now use distilled water and they are loving the change. I hope the oxygen element plus is not BS to take advantage of people but if it is there will be no harm in giving it to her. It is marketed for people with a recommendation as a pet supplement also. The idea is that cancer thrives in a low oxygen environment and this supplement oxygenates your cells and causes your immune system to fight and even overcome cancer. She has had all good days since she came home last month although the pregnizone could just be reducing her pain and making her more comfortable. Her lymph glans behind her knees are still swollen and to me that indicates her titanium hips may be the cause of her infections,my reading says the swelling will be closest to the source.

It has been two and a half months and Catie is still with us. Last week she had about six bad days in a row and I thought her time was up. She has rebounded at least as far as the swelling but has continued to loss weight, she can no longer get to her feet when on slick tile. We have covered about all the tile with rubber mats, rugs and carpet remnant and she has no trouble now getting to her feet. While she is up she appears happy and almost normal, she still has a huge appetite and will drink all the water she can get.
