A while back I found a book about caring for older dogs, title is Your Older Dog written by Jean Callahan. It's a good book, not exactly what I was looking for though.
I bought a new one last night, title is Complete Care For Your Aging Dog written by Amy D. Shojai.
I'm about a quarter of the way through it now and I think it's a great book. It talks about the changes dogs go through as they age, diseases, homeopathic information, surgical stuff ect ect... They have "golden moments" stories in the book, about older dogs and accomplishments, life in general, and their age related health problems.
Just thought I'd pass the info along if anyone was looking for books like this.
