Can't keep quiet any longer!

I wasn't going to say anything for a few weeks, because I'm terrified of jinxing myself, but I just can't keep it in any longer! Initially, I didn't think we'd be getting a puppy for another 6 months to a year, because I thought we'd need that much time to save up, but, our builder owed us some money, and finally said we'd have it at the end of the month, sooooo....we have all the money.

My breeder called me when her dog had her puppies at the beginning of the month. I thought she was just letting me know, because I'm always interested in hearing about her dogs, BUT...she offered us one of the puppies! :D I'm not sure if we're getting one of the black little boys, or the Landseer, but whichever one she chooses for us, we will love him!

We're going in two weeks for our first visit, and I am just so excited! It sounds weird, but I'm also very nervous
It's like being a new parent.

Sorry this was so long, but I am just so thrilled! We still haven't picked a name yet. I want Gandalf, my husband wants Musti (black in Finnish), my 7 yr old wants Rudolph, and my 3 yr old wants 'Daddy'

Yay!

Karen -

Sounds like your husband is Finnish?! So is mine...perhaps your DH can figure out what Guinness Sika means...

Jen

ps - we also call her a little Vekkuli quite often

You're also married to a Finn? We were at a big Finnish festival a few summers ago, and someone was wearing a t-shirt that said, 'Pray for me, I'm married to a Finn'
Do you also have a crazy last name that no one can pronounce?

Sar, the name thing is harder than I thought it would be. My last dog, a name just popped into my head, but this one is driving me nuts!

Karen - Congratulations !! And things are always fun when they come sort of as a surprise like this!! That's how I got my little Bumper. I didn't think I'd have the money and then I thought the pups were all spoken for and so on and so on, but within two weeks everything just fell into place and she came on the 19th of December.

ENJOY ENJOY ENJOY !!!

Thanks Bethanne (like you're surprised ;) ) and Nancy!

Dogger, I have a three yr old who still doesn't know what sleeping through the night is, so I'm used to lack of sleep
