Canine Crisis Response Teams

I was wondering...does anyone have any information (or better yet experience) with Canine Crisis Response teams? I was researching different groups that do animal assisted therapy and came across a few groups that do this in the states and the idea intrigued me. I'd specifically be interested in Canadian groups, but would also love to hear about groups from other countries.

Could you clarify what your looking for when you say "Canine Crisis Response teams?" Are you looking more of a search and rescue or just for emotional support if someone was in a natural disaster?

Therapy Dogs International in the states has dogs that get additional training on top of the ablitlity to do nursing home visits, etc. for their Disaster Stress Reliel program

If the above link is what your looking for, there is a contact page there. They may be able to assist with additional Canadian resources.

If your looking at more of a search and rescue angle, Ronnie just made a post.

Hope this helps :)
